The RC-Flex pin-and-buffer elastic coupling is the compact version of the standard RN-Flex. The design reduces the axial footprint of the coupling, making it ideal for transmissions where space between shafts is limited: compact machines, retrofits, tight integrations in industrial cabinets or cells.
The RC-Flex retains the damping qualities of buffer couplings thanks to the nitrile rubber (NBR) buffers interchangeable with the Flender Neupex standard. It absorbs shocks and torsional vibrations and smooths out starting jolts.
Maintenance remains simple: radial buffer removal without moving the connected shafts, widely available standard spare parts, and adequate tolerance to residual misalignment.
