Product description

The SWA aluminium flexible shaft is a machined-body coupling that compensates misalignment through controlled flexion. The helical slot or flexible-disk arrangement absorbs parallel, angular and axial alignment defects without using an elastomer element.

Aluminium offers minimum inertia, ideal for high-dynamic servomotors, angular encoders and positioning systems. Angular precision is excellent: no torsional backlash, no parasitic oscillation.

The absence of elastomer avoids ageing problems (UV, temperature, solvents) and guarantees a long and constant service life. The SWA is the coupling of choice for precision applications in demanding industrial environments.
