Why choose the SKL?

The SKL is the last-resort coupling: if nothing else can be dismantled, this one can, laterally.

01 / ADVANTAGE

Lateral removal

The hub separates into two bolted half-shells. Removal is done laterally, without any axial movement of the motor or driven machine.

02 / ADVANTAGE

Restricted access

Unique solution for transmissions located in cells, cabinets or fixed-piping installations. Where no other coupling can be dismantled, the SKL can.

03 / ADVANTAGE

Elastomer spider

Inherits the damping and misalignment-tolerance qualities of the SW range: interchangeable elastomer spider in three hardnesses (rubber, PU, Hytrel).

Product description

The SKL half-shell elastic coupling offers a unique solution for restricted-access transmissions. The hubs are made of two bolted half-shells, allowing them to be removed laterally, without any axial movement of the connected shafts.

This feature makes it the reference coupling for installations located in cells, closed electrical cabinets, or any fixed-piping system where axial disassembly is physically impossible.

The SKL retains the elastic qualities of the SW range: interchangeable elastomer spider in three hardnesses, tolerance to misalignment, damping of shocks and vibrations. A complete solution for the most extreme accessibility constraints.

  • Bolted half-shell hubs — lateral removal
  • No axial shaft movement required for maintenance
  • Ideal on long installations, with fixed piping or in cells
  • Inherits the elastomer spider of the SW series
  • Steel or cast iron construction depending on size
  • Hub removal without key or fixing screw to unscrew
