HEXAFLEX coupling with hexagonal elastomer spider. Geometry optimized for damping and torque capacity. High-performance variant of jaw couplings.
The HEXAFLEX optimises spider geometry to transmit more torque for longer.
The 6-leg spider of the HEXAFLEX distributes the load over more contact points than a classic 4-leg spider. Torque transmission capacity superior for equivalent footprint.
The balanced load distribution over the 6 legs reduces local stress peaks. The spider lasts significantly longer than a 4-leg spider under equivalent conditions.
The hexagonal spider is available in several hardnesses (standard rubber, polyurethane, thermoplastic elastomer) to adapt to the constraints of each application.

The HEXAFLEX elastic coupling offers an elastomer spider geometry with 6 legs (hexagonal), instead of the 4 classic legs of standard Jaw-Flex couplings. This optimised geometry offers two decisive advantages.
First, the torque transmission capacity is superior to that of a 4-leg spider of equivalent footprint: the load is distributed over 6 contact points instead of 4, which reduces the local stress on each leg.
Second, the service life of the spider is significantly extended: fewer local stress peaks, less asymmetric wear, more predictable behaviour over time. The hexagonal spider is available in several hardnesses (rubber, polyurethane, thermoplastic elastomer) to adapt to the specific constraints of each application.
